Registration for the #NACTA22
Virtual Conference is Available
Due to the recent severe weather events and our subsequent inability to meet at the OSU CFAES Wooster campus, NACTA is happy to announce the reopening of registration for the 2022 Virtual Annual Meeting. We have shifted our focus to creating a virtual event that promises to be just as educational and enriching as you’d expect from a NACTA event.
This week will offer live workshops, presentations and networking events. Can't make it this week? No problem! Many components of the virtual meeting will be recorded and made available by the end of the virtual meeting for virtual attendees to reference at their leisure. All recorded components will be available until October 1, 2022!
Our virtual program will include:
Workshops* – We will be offering the same synchronous educational opportunities that you had planned to attend in Wooster on Thursday. They will be accessible through the Event Hub and the Zoom link will be emailed to attendees prior to the workshop.
Poster and Oral Presentations – We will be providing participants both synchronous and asynchronous opportunities to interact with authors and their content. Access instructions for these presentations have been sent to our conference attendees.
Abstracts – As with previous meetings, all accepted and presented poster and oral abstracts will be published in a special issue of the NACTA Journal and will be made available digitally to all attendees.
Awards – All awards normally associated with the Annual Meeting will still be conferred. Individuals will be recognized through online announcements and will be honored live at the virtual award ceremony.
Business Meeting – Consistent with our bylaws, each June we hold our annual business meeting as a public event to inform members about the current state of NACTA. The business meeting will take place Wednesday, June 22 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM EDT.
*Workshops will not be recorded for asynchronous viewing.
