Welcome to West Texas! We are honored and excited to host the 2025 NACTA Judging Conference at West Texas A&M University, April 9-12, 2025.
West Texas A&M University was established in 1910 as “West Texas State Normal College” and, through various name changes, has been a staple for education in the Texas Panhandle and greater area. Our university offers 66 undergraduate programs, 44 graduate degrees, and two doctoral programs to over 9,000 students.
Located in The Beef Capital of the World, our university sits deep in the heart of West Texas crop and livestock production. We are also proud to partner with many industry leaders who welcome you to the Panhandle of Texas. Production agriculture is our way of life, our means of survival, and is what our families and communities are built around. The Department of Agricultural Sciences at WT looks forward to providing quality contests for all students in both the 2- and 4-year divisions. We plan to host the following eighteen contests:
The rules for each contest are linked in the list above. The deadline to register is March 4 at 11:59 PM EST. For questions about specific contests, please see the contact information provided in the posted rules.
We look forward to seeing you on campus April 9th!
